It is Right to Rebel

"Marxism comprises many principles, but in the final analysis they can all be brought back to a single sentence: it is right to rebel against the reactionaries." - Mao Zedong

A space for resistance and insurrection. I post rants, ravings, artwork, and propaganda from a radical queer trans dyke perspective.

new zine! »

johnnyanimal:

hey kids! everything is up on my etsy including my newest issue of my personal zine, johnny animal in… bacterial turned viral! this zine was originally released in march, i sold out of every copy i made, and now it’s back on the market. check it out!

check out my sweetie’s awesome zine. here’s a short description of it:

The newest edition of my personal zine, Bacterial Turned Viral!! This is jam-packed with lots of new material including a femme flagging guide, a story about Davey Havok, and a super heavy narrative involving the dog that lives upstairs. This one gets raw. Also, I found love (in a hopeless place)! So it gets pretty mushy too. As always, tales of redemption and growing up.

I am shocked.
Laura was a fellow student and youth activist from the Univ. of Alabama at Tuscaloosa when we met. She was my comrade and friend.
Even though we had a small interaction, I remember our paths intersection toward our own queer liberations, watching her fall in love with a beautiful trans man, become a proud social worker, and chatting online and supporting each other as we lived in two Southern towns which were (hers more so than mine) inhospitable to folks like us.
To my knowledge, she was on her way back from celebrating two friends getting married. Her last post was that she caught the bouquet.
Rest in power, Laura Langley.
